Table Mountain - Textile Art A4 - Orange

This fabric 'picture story' is created using applique and freehand machine embroidery, in a varied colour palette of shweshwe fabrics sewn onto cardstock. The technique involves guiding the fabric by hand while sewing, resulting in unique variations in surface texture typical of the artisanal nature of the work. Each picture is an original artwork designed to be framed. This one reflects the famous Table Mountain silhouette.

Due to the hand-made sewing process each picture is slightly different, an individual piece. Every effort will be made to supply a picture with the same background fabric, colour palette and embroidery thread colour as the one you select, but design details and fabrics will vary.
