How does it work?

Due to the handmade, one-off nature of our artists’ pieces, we are different from a regular online shop:

  1. You see a piece or pieces you would like to order and place it in your shopping cart
  2. Your order is emailed to us. You don’t pay yet
  3. We check availability with the artist(s) and, if different from the display image, we email you photos of the actual items currently in stock, or inform you if this piece will be made to order
  4. We quote for shipping. If you are in South Africa, this will come through quickly. If you are outside South Africa, the quote may take 24 hours, depending on the size of the parcel and country of destination
  5. You confirm that you wish to purchase the items ordered and approve the shipping quote
  6. We invoice you
  7. On receipt of payment, your order will be packaged and shipping will take place within 7-10 days


What happens if a piece is made to order?

  1. Certain pieces may need to be made to order. In this case, we will check production time with the artist concerned and provide you with a shipping quotation
  2. Once the order has been confirmed, we will issue you with an invoice and work will start as soon as we have received payment
  3. You will be kept informed on progress throughout the production process and a photograph of the finished item will be sent to you for final approval before shipping takes place
  4. We track the parcel from the moment it leaves South Africa and remain in touch with our clients until we receive confirmation that the piece has been delivered
