Zach has made his name for his fanciful depictions of African stories and traditions in oils in his signature style based on print-making techniques, but he also loves painting scenes from everyday African life in smaller pieces using acrylics. Here he tells us about this small piece in acrylic on cardboard entitled Children at Play, "This is a colourful view of the children of the community at play, filled with joy. The time I did this painting was a time of peace, sunshine and happiness."
