Owl 2 - Common Resin Wood - Small

Richly glowing polished wood blends seamlessly into raw timber. There is just a suggestion of detail, but the viewer sees the owl within the common resin wood. This piece demonstrates perfectly the unique way in which Boniface Chikwenhere coaxes form from wood, his distinctive expression of 'less is more'. Each one-of-a-kind sculpture is inspired by the character of the found wood, Boniface seeing his mission as completing nature's work and revealing the animal form that he sees emerging from the grain of the wood.

All sculptures are fumigated and shipped with a fumigation certificate. Each is mounted on a stand and there is a choice of a wooden or metal base.
