Elita has used the Tonga word Awa, meaning "No", for this design, signifying a turning point in her life when she was saying No to the old and looking towards new beginnings and a better future. Using rope in various thicknesses and colours, cotton thread, beads and other decorative elements, Elita has created a sophisticated range with a contemporary African flavour and wide appeal, beyond the continent we call home.

This necklace ties at the back using thinner black rope so you can adjust the length to suit your outfit.
