A one-off masterpiece mosaic, this close-up of a leopard’s eye is one of a series on big cats, which includes a panther, tiger and jaguar.
Almost photographic in detail each piece has a luminescent quality all its own. When looking at it close up you see the texture and incredibly fine detail of the mosaic work, step back and you see the whole picture spring to glowing life.
Mosaic artist Tafara Karidza trained for 3 years in mosaic art at the Spier Arts Academy under an international specialist and now manages large mosaic projects and installations as well as creating his own original art pieces. The weight of the piece is approx. 4.9kg
