Tafara Karidza

An artist with a keen eye for detail, Tafara is a graduate of the three-year course in mosaic work co-ordinated by the Spier Arts Academy and now leads large projects for them, as well as designing and producing his own range of smaller custom mosaic pieces. Formally trained, he also enjoys painting and is well known for his colourful 3D ‘township’ pieces which are available in a variety of sizes and colourways. He usually works in oils and includes small details, using recycled metals, which add a lifelike element. Tafara’s work is included in private collections internationally and he is happy to take commissions for both his mosaics and paintings.
