Jeff has developed a signature sculpture technique that he calls ’random wire’, which he uses to create life-like sculptures of African animals such as leopards, rhinos, baboons and lions, as well as human figures from dancers to thinkers. He has trained many aspiring wire sculptors over the years, sharing his techniques and giving them the skills to earn a living. He has work in private collections all over the world and special commissions include a 4metre sculpture of Nelson Mandela for the Absa Museum in Johannesburg.
