Home from the Market - Greeting Card - Textile Art - A6 set of 4

Original art cards to frame. This design in colourful shweshwe fabrics features a lady wearing an African print dress carrying a huge basket of fruit and vegetables on her head as she returns home from the market.

This is an A6 fabric picture created using applique and freehand machine embroidery sewn onto cardstock. The technique involves guiding fabric by hand, any squiggles in the stitching adding to its handmade character. Each card is unique and may use a slightly different selection of fabrics, thread colour or design details to those shown here. Please ask us if there is a particular colour palette you prefer - we can show you the range currently available before shipping to you.

The card is blank inside and it is supplied with an envelope.
