Janette creates bright, translucent glass plates and platters that sparkle in the sunlight, beautifully painted with a wide variety of designs: African animals, indigenous flowers, abstract patterns, uplifting messages. Her functional glass art uses the fusing and slumping process and serves as a canvas for her paintings often inspired by African animals, traditional patterns, historic buildings and many more themes. Her products may be used in the oven and may be put through the usual washing cycle in an automatic dishwasher.
