Elita Brooks makes striking costume jewellery with an African twist from rope, cotton, semi-precious stones and beads. She was trained in the weaving patterns as a child making straw baskets in Malawi and then learned how to apply the same skills to rope jewellery. She now has her own range of designs from collectable ‘statement piece’ necklaces, necklaces for everyday wear, to a wide variety of bracelet and earring designs.
