Eagle - 'Chivindi' - Recycled Metal - Masterpiece

A swooping eagle seizes its prey, the motion beautifully captured in recycled metal by artist Godfrey Dambuleni. One of his most recent creations, the eagle is named Chivindi, which means courage, and measures 1.4 metres in height from claw to wing-tip.

Godfrey is always experimenting with new techniques, which this piece demonstrates. The eagle consists of layers upon layers of individually hand fashioned metal feathers, meticulously attached to a wire frame. Extraordinary attention to detail is evident in the shape of the head and beak, as well as the soaring wings.

This stunning sculpture of an eagle is a one of a kind masterpiece of recycled art suitable for the serious collector. It is very stable and may be mounted on a raised plinth. A weather proof coating may be applied to protect it for display outdoors.
