Tavengwa uses colourful telephone wire wrapped around a wire frame to make a variety of animals and functional decorative items. It’s an art that grew from using reclaimed and recycled phone wire, and now the manufacturers produce the wire in a rainbow of colours specifically for the use of artists. Meticulously crafted birds, bicycles, African animals, and smaller décor items are just the start of his creative range where there is always something new on the go.
