A small bontebok trophy head by George Dokora. He makes each wire frame by hand then covers it with beads threaded onto binding wire, a technique known as 'plastering' or 'weaving'. Here brown and white beads are used for the head, with the horns and muzzle in black.
A wire circle attached to the frame at the back ensures easy installation.
